Lisa Rowell Headshot

Hi. I’m Lisa.

I’m a writer who started my career at Southern Living magazine. Since then, I’ve written for popular parenting, education, and faith-based brands, served as the Communications Director and Online Church Director for a large multi-site church in Atlanta, and published Simplifying Rest and A 30-Day Writing Journal: Biblical Affirmations, Journal Pages, and Mindfulness Prompts for Christian Writers.

I lend my heart and words to causes and organizations that encourage love and hope. My heart beats for Jesus, early childhood education, the arts, supporting parents, and encouraging women. I don’t always get it right, but I believe leading in and leaning into LOVE is never wrong.

Currently, I write for iMom, Family Christian, Clever, and co-lead Across the Table—an encouraging Facebook community of 600+ Christian women.
